What is a sovereign AI?
Sovereign AI is an artificial intelligence system whose data, model, and infrastructure remain under national legal and physical control. In Switzerland, this means: servers located on Swiss territory, no transfers to entities subject to the US CLOUD Act, and verifiable compliance with nFADP/nLPD. Is an AI "hosted in Switzerland" necessarily sovereign?

- Mastery of the model and access — the client controls who accesses the data, can audit the model, and retains ownership of its results.
